Street Work 1972-2016
This series details David Barbour's evolution as a photographer searching for his own style and gives insight to his passion of engaging life with a camera.
David studied photography at the Banff School of Fine Arts in the 1970s and has balanced personal projects with freelance assignments and teaching throughout his career. His photographs are in the collections of the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Library and Archives Canada, Canada Council Art Bank, and Edmonton Art Gallery, among others.
All photographs are produced with Tri-X film and his preferred camera is a Leica M6. All photographs are printed on Ilford Warm Tone 16x20 fiber paper.
